Where do you make your products?
All aprons and bags are handmade at The Country Crib, our cottage and studio in Somerset, England.
We also collaborate with fellow makers who have the environment and sustainability in mind.
When can I expect my goods?
All orders will be sent within 2 working days, unless a product is made to order and / or specified. Once despatched you will receive a confirmation email. UK orders will be sent by Royal Mail using Tracked and / or Signed, whilst international deliveries will Tracked, where possible.
How much is shipping?
We ship to UK, Europe and Rest of World, and the cost is dependant on the weight and contents of the products you order, and which courier we use.
The shipping cost will appear at checkout.
Prohibited and Restricted Items
Where an order contains bladed items this may incur additional postage fees as Royal Mail requests these are sent using Age Verification with confirmation of the recipient’s age.
No bladed items are permitted to international addresses from the UK.
For customers in Europe, depending on your in-country customs duties please be aware that your local customs office may charge you a fee before releasing your parcel.
Garment care
Aprons can be machine washed on cool cycle or hand washed. Please allow for some shrinkage.
Are your products fully organic?
We feel very strongly about sourcing only sustainable and organic fabric and materials. All fabric is 100% organic GOTS certified cotton canvas.
The cotton is organically grown and produced in Turkey, and dyed with reactive dyes that are more environmentally friendly.
Cotton thread is also GOTS certified organic.
The apron straps are made from hemp, which is considered one of the most sustainable textiles. It doesn't require irrigation during growth and not treated with chemicals or pesticides.
Labels are printed on organic GOTS certified using OEKOTEX certified ink.
All packaging is sourced from eco friendly materials and fully biodegradable.
Bag straps / handles: please read product description for materials used. We mostly use either cotton, hemp or jute straps, although our new oversized bag has an option for leather straps.
Can I Buy Now, Pay Later?
Clearpay is available at checkout. Clearpay is a payment service that lends customers a fixed amount of credit to make purchases instantly and then pay for them in 4 automatic instalments, made every 2 weeks, without any interest (late fees apply). Please use Clearpay responsibly. Once payment is made to us from the payment provider we are not held responsible for any credit arrangements you agree and sign up to with Clearpay. I want to send a garment gift wrapped
All aprons are sent out wrapped in tissue paper with a branded The Country Crib postcard. We are happy to include personalised message for you . Please message us hello@thecountrycrib.com with the message.

What information do you need from me when I place an order?
As standard, if you place an order on this site we need your name and email address, billing address and delivery address. Your mobile phone number may also required if the courier needs to contact you to arrange delivery of your order.
