They are designed with looped pins that provide great stem support and are so easy to use. The pins create a natural thatching (similar to that of chicken wire) to hold each stem in place. The hairpin holder also allow you to insert stems horizontally.
Simply place in a suitable vessel of your choice, such as a ceramic flower bowl (also available here!), add water and start arranging your flowers.

This is such an ingenious product which has transformed my floral arrangements from 'done by a 3 year year old' to something vaguely acceptable for the kitchen table. A truly inspired design - one I wish I had discovered years ago!
