Stacking Rings & Bangle Workshops with Elly Harvey

We are absolutely delighted to welcome a local favourite to No.7 by The Country Crib! Many of you will recognise Elly Harvey from her stunning stalls at the Sherborne independent markets over the last six years. Now, instead of just admiring her work, you have the chance to learn from the expert herself.

Join us for a hands-on, creative morning or afternoon where you’ll transform raw sterling silver into beautiful, personalised jewellery.

What You’ll Learn

Whether you’re a complete beginner or a craft enthusiast, Elly will guide you through the essential foundations of silversmithing. In this 2-hour session, you’ll learn:

• Measuring & Gauging: Getting that perfect, comfortable fit.

• Sawing & Filing: Shaping your silver with precision.

• Soldering & Refining: Using heat to join your pieces seamlessly.

• Shaping & Texturing: Creating unique finishes and silhouettes.

• Stamping: Personalising your jewellery with letters or shapes.

• Polishing: Giving your new treasures that professional sparkle.

Stacking Rings - You’ll walk away wearing 1–3 made-to-measure sterling silver rings - perfect for stacking together or gifting to someone special.

• Materials: An additional sterling silver cost will be payable on the day, depending on the weight and size of the wire you choose for your designs. (these range from approx. £6 – £14 for rings, silver starts at £20 per slim 2mm thickness bangle).

Spaces are limited to ensure plenty of one-on-one guidance from Elly. Come spend a few hours getting creative, learning a timeless craft, and taking home something truly handmade. We can’t wait to see what you create!
