Timu Leather Journal - Chocolate Brown

Nkuku's Timu journals are bound in a soft, supple chocolate brown leather. They are perfect for travelling, sketching and just holding memories. Made ethically in India.

The leather used in creating these journals is a by-product, it also ages over time enhancing the rustic look of each piece.

The Timu journal is filled with beautiful handmade paper, created from pieces of recycled cotton rag. This ancient paper making skill has been passed on through generations. Cotton paper has the additional benefit of being tree free as no wood pulp is used. Each sheet is painstakingly made by hand and dried by the sun before being bound in leather and carefully hand stitched. Both the A5 and A6 journal features 120 pages.
